Last weekend I flew down to Miami for one of my best friend’s college graduation. To celebrate, we couldn’t go anywhere other then South Beach! If you ever have a chance to travel to the 305 I would make Monty’s a must!! It was absolutely amazing. The scenery was breathtaking with a view of sun, sand, and boats in front of you and a Tiki bar and swimming pool smack in the middle of the place.  This location makes for nothing short of a fun time and I am chomping at the bits to do it again the next time I am in the area for a visit!!!!

I love love love the combination of Hot Pink and Navy. I think the loudness of the pink makes a loud, fun statement while the calming of the navy brings the look to an everyday appeal. I have been having some fun playing with colors in my clothing choices as well as with my make up looks.

To get this look I used my Kat Von D eye shadow pallet for the golden hues on my lid. I swept my entire lid with gold, defined my crease with a light brown, and highlighted under my brow and in the inner corner of my eyes with white. I lined my eyes with a navy blue liner by Benefit and traced over it with an Urban Decay blue shadow to ensure the liner from running. I used Maybelline lip stick in Pop Pink. On my cheeks I contoured with Nars bronzer in Laguna and coated the apples of my cheeks with Nars blush in orgasm. For a base I used Urban Decays nearly naked BB cream.

This Friday was a lot of fun! I first spent a few hours with Britt while she got the first part of her sick tattoo!  I can not wait to see the finished product once all the shading is done! It looks beautiful on her!

Afterwards I met up with some friends to watch a band play at one of the local watering holes. When you surround yourself with good company it is impossible to have bad results! It was such an enjoyable night, filled with amazing art, music, and friends!

“Sunday Morning” is on of my all time favorite songs along with one of my favorite times of the week. Today I spent the morning catching up on some much-needed sleep, grabbing a delicious Cappuccino at a local bakery and watching and adorable theater production called “Under the Sea”.
